This event, which brought together pungmul troupes and local residents from across the province to preserve and carry on traditional culture while fostering unity, was originally scheduled to take place at the county’s public stadium. However, due to continuous rain, the venue was changed.

As a result, the planned gilnori parade was unfortunately canceled, but the pungmul troupe competition and the opening ceremony proceeded as scheduled. In the competition, the Dasan Pungmul Troupe from the Goryeong Cultural Center won first prize, while the Okdong Pungmul Troupe from the Andong Cultural Center and the Nori-Pae Sinmyeong from the Sangju Cultural Center each received the runner-up prize.

Kim Kwangyeol, County Governor, stated, "Through this festival, county residents were able to directly experience and enjoy the passion and excitement of pungmul troupes gathered from all over Gyeongsangbuk-do. We will actively support the activities of local pungmul troupes and other traditional cultural and arts organizations, and work to promote a variety of programs that foster the joint development of culture, arts, and tourism."
