Korea National Oil Corporation Practices Warm Sharing Through Employees' 'Love Group Blood Donation'

Korea National Oil Corporation (President Kim Dongseub) held a 'Love Group Blood Donation' event at its Ulsan headquarters on October 27.

Since 2021, Korea National Oil Corporation has signed a business agreement with the Korean Red Cross and has been holding company-wide group blood donation events twice a year, in both the first and second halves.

The group blood donation event has been organized to fulfill the corporation's social responsibility as a public enterprise by contributing to the stable supply of blood in the local community. As of this date, the domestic blood reserve stands at 4.9 days, which is classified as the 'alert stage.' In this context, the corporation's group blood donation relay is providing practical support to local medical institutions in securing a stable blood supply.

More than 100 employees from the headquarters voluntarily participated in the event, including new employees who joined the company in August this year and took an active role.

A new member of the ESG Management Office who participated in the group blood donation said, "This was my first social contribution activity since joining the company, so it is especially memorable. I am proud as a new employee that the company has consistently held such group blood donation events," and added, "I will continue to actively participate in various social contribution activities organized by the company."

President Kim Dongseub stated, "I am grateful that so many employees, including new hires, voluntarily participate in group blood donation every year. Going forward, Korea National Oil Corporation will continue to carry out social contribution activities that provide practical help to the local community, with the participation of many members, as a public enterprise that works together with the region."
