The 'Forest Fire Drone Surveillance Team' is operated with the aim of preventing forest fires by using drones to intensively crack down on and guide against illegal burning activities.

Specifically, when agricultural by-products or waste are burned, or cooking and smoking occur in areas adjacent to forests, the team will use drone speakers to broadcast announcements about related administrative fines, thereby conducting guidance activities.

The city expects that, by monitoring a wide area through the 'Forest Fire Drone Surveillance Team,' it will be able to respond to forest fires more efficiently.

Hwang Deoksang, head of the Forestry Division of Yangju City, stated, "We will do our utmost to ensure public safety and protect the forests by thoroughly carrying out surveillance and prevention activities for forest fires." He also requested, "We ask for the active cooperation and interest of citizens in preventing forest fires, including refraining from illegal burning and not carrying ignition sources within forests."
