This event is organized by Yangpyeong County and co-hosted by the Yangpyeong Health Tour Cooperative and the Barefoot Walking National Movement Headquarters.

The event is open to 300 pre-registered participants on a first-come, first-served basis, with an entry fee of 10,000 won. In addition to a simple walking activity, the event will feature experiential programs such as a special lecture, barefoot games, and a photo zone, allowing participants to fully enjoy the wellness concept.

Prior to the main event, at 1:30 p.m. in the Semiwon Gallery, Yangpyeong County and the Barefoot Walking National Movement Headquarters will sign a "Barefoot Walking Promotion MOU." Based on this agreement, the county plans to actively develop the barefoot walking trails established throughout Yangpyeong as tourism resources.

Governor Jeon Jinseon stated, "As barefoot walking is gaining attention as a means of natural healing and wellness, we will use this event to further promote stay-type tourism by connecting barefoot walking trails in each town and township." Currently, Yangpyeong County has a total of 24 barefoot walking trail courses.
