The Mokdong Complex 10, which is pursuing reconstruction through a trust-based method, has received official notification of its designation as the project implementer. This marks the third reconstruction complex in Mokdong to adopt the trust-based approach.
On October 23, Korea Land Trust announced that it had completed the official notification of project implementer designation just over a month after applying for the designation on September 19.
Since being designated as a maintenance area, Mokdong Complex 10 has been advancing the project at the fastest pace.
The Mokdong Complex 10 Reconstruction Preparation Committee stated, "During the consent form collection period, communication among Korea Land Trust, the committee, and residents was smooth," adding, "The active cooperation of Yangcheon District Office, which holds the authority to designate, further enabled us to receive the official notification quickly."
Located between Yangcheon-gu Office Station and Sinjeongnegeori Station on Subway Line 2, and Sinjeong Station on Line 5, Mokdong Complex 10 will be reconstructed on a 194,686-square-meter site with a floor area ratio of nearly 300%, allowing for up to 40 floors and a total of 4,050 units.
Nearby are Yangmyeong Elementary School and Sinseo Middle School, and the complex is also close to the Mokdong academy district, renowned for its excellent educational environment.
Mokdong Complex 10 was designated as a maintenance area on July 31. Consent form collection began in mid-August, and about 74% of landowners and stakeholders agreed to designate Korea Land Trust as the project implementer.
Korea Land Trust stated, "We plan to promptly convene a general meeting of all landowners and stakeholders to discuss the formation of the maintenance project committee and the selection of companies such as design firms, and to continue advancing the project at a rapid pace."
