Polaris Seawon Expands Orders for Eco-Friendly Vehicle Air Conditioning Components... Accelerates Customer Diversification

Polaris Seawon, a company specializing in automotive air conditioning components, announced on October 22 that it continues to grow despite an uncertain external environment by securing new orders centered on eco-friendly vehicles and diversifying its customer base.

Recently, Polaris Seawon has expanded its customer base and signed a series of new supply contracts for air conditioning components for eco-friendly vehicles. In particular, its collaboration with Hyundai Wia and PHC Valeo Thermal Systems has complemented its existing major client-focused supply structure and further strengthened its capabilities to respond to the integrated thermal and air conditioning management systems demanded by the future mobility market.

The new orders focus on core components across the entire vehicle thermal management system and are scheduled for mass production in phases going forward. Polaris Seawon is upgrading its product portfolio in line with global eco-friendly and electrification trends, enhancing its competitiveness through customer-tailored design technology and stable quality control capabilities.

A company representative stated, "The expansion of collaboration with various clients is the result of technological trust and delivery responsiveness built on existing strategic partnerships," adding, "In addition to eco-friendly vehicles, opportunities for new orders are expected to increase with the expansion of the global autonomous driving and robotaxi markets, including companies such as Tesla and Waymo."

The representative further added, "We will solidify our position in the future mobility parts market, where the advancement of thermal management systems is emerging as a core competitive strength."

The company’s performance supports this trend. Last month, Polaris Seawon recorded its highest-ever monthly sales since its founding, proving its external growth. Despite a global decline in eco-friendly vehicle sales, the company explained that its pre-secured orders have actually led to an expansion in the supply of components for eco-friendly vehicles.

Meanwhile, to strengthen its production capacity, Polaris Seawon has newly expanded its third plant in Hyangnam-eup, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi Province. The company has begun operations focusing on the production facilities for core air conditioning components and plans to enter full-scale mass production after completing the establishment of major processes and obtaining customer quality certifications.
