The agreement was signed on October 21 at the Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition (Seoul ADEX). The two companies agreed to cooperate on key areas including Australian defense technology collaboration, establishment of education and production facilities, and local technology transfer.
MNC Solution has already established a partnership with CTS through the Redback armored vehicle localization project. The company has transferred its in-arm suspension unit (ISU) technology, which is applied to the Redback armored vehicle, to CTS, and has supported the establishment of local production infrastructure and technical training. Based on this, CTS plans to begin full-scale local production of ISUs for the Redback armored vehicle in Australia starting in June 2026.
Recently, the Australian government has significantly increased its defense budget and is strengthening its "defense sovereignty" policy, focusing not only on the import of weaponry but also on technology transfer and the establishment of local production infrastructure as core strategies. As a result, MNC Solution is expected to position itself as a strategic partner in major weapon procurement projects in Australia through this agreement.
Kim Byunggeun, CEO of MNC Solution, stated, "Through the signing of this MOU, MNC Solution will become a key partner in the global localization of defense components," adding, "We will further accelerate our entry into global markets, including Australia, through our cooperation with CTS."
