The Technology Credit Guarantee Fund announced on the 21st that it had signed a "Financial Support Agreement for Productive Finance Activation through the K-TOP Technology Evaluation Open Platform" with Woori Bank.
This agreement aims to link the Technology Credit Guarantee Fund's K-TOP platform with Woori Bank's recommendation system in order to identify innovative companies with high technological capabilities and growth potential at an early stage, while also enhancing small and medium-sized enterprises' access to technology-based finance.
Under the agreement, the Technology Credit Guarantee Fund will provide preferential support for a special guarantee agreement totaling 20 billion won, using a 1 billion won special contribution from Woori Bank as funding. The Fund will offer preferential benefits such as an increased guarantee ratio (from 85% to 100% for three years) and a reduction in guarantee fees (by 0.2 percentage points for three years).
The support targets are small and medium-sized enterprises that meet the Technology Credit Guarantee Fund's technology guarantee requirements, have been recommended by Woori Bank, and have obtained a recommendation-eligible grade (technology business evaluation grade B or higher) on K-TOP.
Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to establish an organic collaboration system based on K-TOP and strengthen customized financial support for promising small and medium-sized enterprises, thereby promoting the spread of a productive financial ecosystem.
