As of October 19, applications for the second round of livelihood recovery consumption coupons in Jeonbuk Province have reached a total of 1,545,798 cases, amounting to 154.6 billion won.
According to the province on October 20, this figure represents 95% of the total allocation of 162.7 billion won as of October 19.
Applications for the second round of consumption coupons can be submitted both online and offline until 6 p.m. on October 31. The usage period for both the first and second rounds of consumption coupons is until November 30, and any unused coupons will expire after that date.
To minimize the number of residents who have not applied, the province is operating a "visiting application service." In particular, if elderly residents, people with disabilities, or those with mobility difficulties request assistance at their local community center, an official will visit them in person to help fill out the application and guide them through the process. This initiative aims to improve accessibility to the application process throughout the province and strengthen administrative support so that everyone, including marginalized groups, can receive the benefits.
Kim Intae, Director of Corporate Attraction Support, stated, "We urge all residents who have not yet applied for the second round of consumption coupons to do so within the deadline," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure that as many residents as possible can benefit from the coupons through the visiting application service."
