This year's tournament will be held over four days starting on October 23 at Woojeong Hills Country Club (par 71, 7,367 yards) in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province. Last year, 30 players from the KPGA Tour were allocated spots, but this year, the number has been increased to 36. Ninety players from the DP World Tour will also participate. The total prize fund is 4 million US dollars. For KPGA Tour players, 50% of the prize money earned at this event will count as official earnings.
The winner of the Genesis Championship will receive a two-year exemption (2026-2027) on both the KPGA Tour and the DP World Tour, 1,300 Genesis Points, and 835 Race to Dubai ranking points. The champion will also be awarded a winner's purse of 680,000 US dollars and a Genesis GV80. Additionally, the top KPGA Tour player will earn a spot in next year's Genesis Scottish Open, a tournament co-hosted by the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour.
