The "Gyeongbuk Baekdudaegan Trail 6 Challenge," which serves as the core content for establishing Baekdudaegan forest tourism as a leading brand, will be held a total of six times, rotating through the six cities and counties, with up to 1,200 participants in total.

This event has been planned as a signature program utilizing the outstanding forest resources of the Gyeongbuk Baekdudaegan region. Through systematic joint marketing activities, the strategy is to establish the Baekdudaegan area as a leading destination for forest tourism in Korea.

The courses in each region are approximately 10 to 15 kilometers long and are designed as intermediate-to-advanced level trails, each taking about 4 hours and 30 minutes or more to complete, including uphill sections and narrow paths.

In particular, this event prioritizes participant safety above all else and is designed to emphasize completing all six courses at one's own pace. It offers participants the opportunity to improve their health in the forest while experiencing the natural beauty of Baekdudaegan.

Participants will walk safely along the entire route from the starting point to the finish under the guidance of professional trekking managers and will receive puzzle-shaped stickers representing the six regions.

Those who complete all the courses can assemble the pieces to complete a map of Baekdudaegan and receive a commemorative finisher's medal.

Anyone wishing to participate in the "Gyeongbuk Baekdudaegan Trail 6 Challenge" can apply through the Seungwoo Travel Agency website or OjiGoTrip.

Jo Hyunae, Director of Forest Resources at Gyeongbuk Province, stated, "We look forward to the enthusiastic interest and participation of those who enjoy challenges and experiences in this special event that offers both health and healing. The province will continue to promote joint marketing in cooperation with the cities and counties to establish Gyeongbuk as the central hub of Baekdudaegan forest tourism."
