As the KOSPI plunged by 2% in early trading, the display board at the Hana Bank dealing room in Jung-gu, Seoul, on October 13 showed the KOSPI, the won-dollar exchange rate, and other indicators. On this day, the KOSPI index opened at 3,550.08, down 60.52 points (1.68%) from the previous trading day. The won-dollar exchange rate opened at 1,430.0, up 9.0 won, and the KOSDAQ opened at 845.76, down 13.73 points (1.60%).
