Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters Extends a Helping Hand to the Community for Chuseok Holiday Sharing

Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Director Lee Sangwook) actively carried out social contribution activities throughout the local community in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

Every year during major holidays, Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters purchases and provides large quantities of locally produced agricultural products to support vulnerable neighbors in villages and welfare facilities near the power plant.

On September 29, the headquarters delivered consolation gifts worth approximately 55 million won, including 1,370 bags of Gijang rice and 265 boxes of Gijang pears.

On September 30, a "side dish sharing volunteer activity" was held. On this day, warm holiday meals prepared by hand were delivered directly to 40 vulnerable households in Gijang-gun, Busan.

The side dish sharing volunteer activity is carried out twice a month by the "Gori Volunteer Group," which consists of members of local volunteer organizations and employees of Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters.

In addition, on the 2nd, Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters held a "Chuseok Traditional Market Shopping Event." Director Lee Sangwook and employees participated in the event at Wolnae 5-day Market, purchasing a variety of locally produced goods such as fruits, meat, and miscellaneous items, and delivered them to 40 vulnerable households in Gijang-gun.
