Global Finance stated that Hana Bank received high marks in areas such as service quality, fee competitiveness, ability to meet diverse market needs, and customer satisfaction at the "2025 Global Finance Transaction Banking Awards" held in Frankfurt, Germany on September 30. These were cited as the reasons for the bank's selection.
Earlier, in March of this year, Hana Bank completed an upgrade of its custody work system through company-wide collaboration, realizing customer-centric innovation by significantly reducing manual work, improving operational efficiency, expanding processing capacity, and providing customized client reports. Based on these achievements, the bank has won the top award for 15 consecutive years from 2011 to 2025, and a total of 17 times overall.
An official from Hana Bank's Custody Sales Department commented, "With more than 30 years of custody know-how and accumulated expertise, we have been recognized for our unrivaled capabilities as Korea's leading custodian bank on the international stage. We will continue to strengthen our position in both domestic and international custody markets and pursue expansion into new business areas."
Meanwhile, Hana Bank provides a wide range of customized custody services for foreign investors, including stocks, bonds, and various types of real estate beneficiary certificates, not only to global custodian banks but also to foreign banks and insurance companies, as well as global securities firms and asset management companies.
