This exhibition aims to provide residents and tourists with the atmosphere of autumn and a variety of attractions, while also creating a venue for chrysanthemum bonsai enthusiasts to interact and laying the foundation for the development of the local floriculture industry.

The exhibition will feature over 100 chrysanthemum bonsai works, including large-flowered varieties, multi-stemmed works, flowerbed chrysanthemums, and single-stemmed pieces, as well as large-scale works and sculptures. The members will showcase the results of their dedicated efforts since spring.

In particular, the event will be held in conjunction with the Yangyang Market Road event (October 17-19), as well as the 2025 Pine Mushroom Festival and Salmon Festival, offering a wide range of experiences and attractions to increase the satisfaction of visitors coming to Yangyang in the autumn season.

Through the exhibition of outstanding chrysanthemum bonsai works, the event will promote technical exchanges among farmers and help raise awareness of chrysanthemums as a new source of agricultural income.

The Yangyang County Chrysanthemum Bonsai Research Association was established in 2020 and currently has 35 active members. The association is continuously striving to establish chrysanthemums as a part of everyday horticulture and culture in Yangyang County through high-quality exhibitions and the distribution of chrysanthemum works.

Chairman Yoon Jonguk stated, "I ask for the strong encouragement and support of the residents so that these efforts can serve as a foundation for even higher quality works in the future," and added, "I would also like to thank the members who have devoted their sincerity and passion to preparing these pieces."

Yangyang County plans to continue expanding the base of floriculture farms, enhance the local landscape, and discover differentiated cultural content by nurturing talent centered around the Chrysanthemum Bonsai Research Association.
