Fasoo Participates in Malaysia's 'CyberDSA 2025'

Fasoo announced on October 1 that it is participating in the cybersecurity exhibition 'CyberDSA 2025,' currently being held in Malaysia.

Taking part in this event, Fasoo aims to promote its data-centric security strategy and expand its influence in the Southeast Asian market. CyberDSA, held in Kuala Lumpur from September 30 to October 2, brings together government agencies, enterprises, and academic experts from across Southeast Asia, centered on Malaysia, to share the latest security trends, technologies, and strategies.

Since this year, the amended Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Malaysia has been implemented in phases, making data security and personal information protection strategies a central focus of the event.

At CyberDSA, Fasoo showcased solutions for encrypting and continuously protecting critical files to guard against data breaches and ransomware attacks, ensuring business continuity. The company presented its data security solution, 'Fasoo Enterprise DRM (FED),' and its data backup solution, 'FC-BR.' Additionally, as a response to PDPA regulations, Fasoo introduced its multi-cloud data security posture management solution, 'Fasoo DSPM.'

Fasoo's flagship next-generation FED is a hyper-DRM solution that provides thorough protection and unified policy management for documents, whether stored locally or in the cloud. It maintains continuous encryption throughout the entire document lifecycle, from creation to disposal, and allows for restrictions on viewing, editing, and printing based on permissions, while tracking and managing all activities.

To prepare for ransomware attacks or disasters, FC-BR is essential. FC-BR is a file-centric backup solution that integrates with Fasoo's document protection solutions to efficiently prevent data loss. It automatically backs up only necessary documents in real time and allows simple one-click recovery. Automatic backup targets can be set based on security levels such as those defined by FED, ensuring high efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Furthermore, leveraging AI, it can identify and protect personal information contained in backed-up documents, images, PDFs, and more.

Fasoo DSPM is an essential solution for efficiently managing sensitive data dispersed across multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments. It provides a comprehensive overview of the security status of cloud-based data, automatically detects and classifies sensitive information-including unmanaged dark and shadow data, as well as personal information. It also displays compliance status with various regulations at both the storage and data levels, enabling thorough management of sensitive data.
