Works by Artist Choi Yujin with Developmental Disability Arrive on Campus

Invited Exhibition at the Gallery Lounge, Core Competency Library, Pukyong National University

Works by artist Choi Yujin, who has a developmental disability, will be showcased on a university campus.


Pukyong National University (President Bae Sanghoon) is holding an invited solo exhibition by artist Choi Yujin, who has a developmental disability, titled "Introducing My Friend" at the Gallery Lounge on the first floor of the Core Competency Library from September 29 to October 15.


The exhibition features 22 works by Choi Yujin, including "The Link Between You and Me," "Campbell Soup and Friends," "My Friend Jaebeom," and "The Road We Walk Together."

Choi Yujin is an artist recognized for her ability to express daily life and friendships with unique imagination, having won awards in various competitions such as the National Art Contest for Students with Disabilities.


This solo exhibition is Choi Yujin's second solo show, following her first invited solo exhibition held at Gallery Sosohan (Gamcheon-dong, Busan) in June, based on her participation in numerous group exhibitions to date.


Pukyong National University organized this exhibition under the library's initiative to provide an open cultural space for the local community and to help improve awareness of disabilities through cultural experiences.


The exhibition is open to Pukyong National University students, faculty, and local residents. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the exhibition period, except during the Chuseok holiday.
