Paju City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it held the opening ceremony for the Unjeong Danurim Senior and Disabled Welfare Center on the 29th and has officially begun operations.

The Unjeong Danurim Senior and Disabled Welfare Center provides a wide range of welfare services, including counseling, lifelong education, leisure and cultural activities, health promotion, care services, and day-use programs. In particular, the center operates a robot program based on advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology, making rehabilitation therapy more accessible for people with disabilities. The facility is designed to enhance the convenience and well-being of local residents.
The event began with commendations for those who contributed to the opening of the center, followed by a ceremony presenting the first membership card, congratulatory speeches from distinguished guests, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a tour of the facilities, all of which heightened the celebratory atmosphere.
To mark the opening, the Paju City Art Association collaborated to display artworks by local artists in the dining area, creating a space where visitors can enjoy both meals and cultural experiences, making the day even more special.

Equipped with comprehensive programs for health, culture, leisure, and rehabilitation, it will serve as a key hub for community welfare in the region.
To celebrate the opening, the center is offering a variety of free trial programs for one month, including movie screenings, singing classes, and health lectures. These programs have received an enthusiastic response from citizens, establishing a strong foundation for the center as a welfare space.
