KB Asset Management Hosts Single-Parent Families for 'Seoul World Fireworks Festival' Event

KB Asset Management announced on September 29 that it invited single-parent families from the Salvation Army Duri Home to its headquarters for a warm sharing event in celebration of the 'Seoul World Fireworks Festival' held in Yeouido, Seoul on September 27.

The Salvation Army Duri Home is an organization that supports single mothers with prenatal care, childbirth, and the upbringing of children under the age of three, helping single-parent families prepare for a new start.

This event was part of KB Asset Management's ongoing support activities for the Salvation Army Duri Home, aimed at providing emotional stability and special memories for single-parent families.

The invited families enjoyed a dinner together at a restaurant in Yeouido, followed by watching the fireworks festival from the KB Asset Management headquarters. Before the event, participants were also given commemorative gifts, including 'KB Star Friends' dolls and cooler bags.

Previously, KB Asset Management delivered a donation to the Salvation Army Duri Home last month to assist single-parent families in need of support immediately after childbirth. The donation is used to purchase breastfeeding chairs, formula, and other maternity supplies, as well as to provide postpartum helper services.

A volunteer group composed of KB Asset Management employees has been regularly visiting the Salvation Army Duri Home since April to engage in various volunteer activities, such as organizing living and play spaces and running play programs for children, fostering warm exchanges with single-parent families.

Kim Youngsung, CEO of KB Asset Management, said, "I hope this fireworks festival event will remain a precious memory for single-parent families," adding, "We will continue to practice the values of care and mutual growth through social contribution activities and sharing with the local community."
