On September 29, KOSDAQ-listed Onul ENM announced that it is moving forward with plans to establish local subsidiaries in Anjouan and Cyprus to accelerate its entry into the global i-Gaming market.

Onul ENM will set up a gaming operations subsidiary in Anjouan, a territory under the Union of Comoros, to secure an Anjouan gaming license. In Cyprus, a member state of the European Union, the company will establish a strategic base for entering the European market. This initiative is an essential step to secure legal operating status in the global i-Gaming market, minimize regulatory risks, and lay a stable foundation for business expansion.

According to estimates by Grand View Research, the global i-Gaming market is projected to grow from approximately 78.6 billion US dollars (about 110.21 trillion won) in 2024 to around 153.6 billion US dollars (about 215.38 trillion won) in 2030, representing an annual growth rate of 11.9%.

Onul ENM plans to gain a competitive edge in this market by providing transparent transactions, stable settlements, and convenient global payments through a differentiated online casino platform that incorporates blockchain-based payment and security technologies.

A company representative stated, "Establishing subsidiaries in Anjouan and Cyprus is a critical step for legitimate global expansion. Through this new business, we will diversify our business portfolio, secure growth engines connecting Asia and Europe, and maximize corporate value."

Meanwhile, in the same industry, Me2ON has already entered the market by officially launching its global casino platform 'ACE CASINO'-based on stablecoin-through its overseas subsidiary Ace Gaming. After about two years of development and regulatory procedures, the company successfully obtained a license from the Anjouan Gaming Commission.
