According to the county on September 29, this Farmers’ Public Interest Allowance is being implemented as part of the 2025 North Jeolla Province Agricultural and Rural Public Value Support Project. Eligibility requires applicants to have resided in North Jeolla Province for at least one year and to maintain a farming (or beekeeping) business. The allowance is distributed annually around the Chuseok holiday.

The allowance will be provided by loading it onto a Muju Love Gift Certificate card exclusively for the Farmers’ Public Interest Allowance. New recipients or those who have lost their cards must first obtain a card before receiving the payment.

Shin Sangbeom, head of the Muju County Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "This program not only ensures the sustainability of agriculture and rural communities but also plays a positive role in stabilizing farmers’ livelihoods." He added, "We began charging the Muju Love Gift Certificate cards on September 25 and plan to complete all payments before the Chuseok holiday."

Meanwhile, the remaining balance on the card can be checked through the NICE Information & Telecommunication customer center, the Hometown Love Pay app, Nonghyup branches, or the industry team at local township administrative welfare centers. Cards can be (re)issued at Nonghyup branches by submitting the (re)issuance application form received from the industry team at the relevant township administrative welfare center.
