The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on September 29 that it held the '2nd Digital Transformation Committee Meeting for 2025'.

At the meeting, participants discussed the role that the Korea Federation of SMEs, as the leading economic organization for SMEs and a comprehensive mutual aid association with over 2 million members, should play in the rapidly changing digital management environment to support small and micro businesses over the medium and long term.

Han Byungjun, Chairperson of the Digital Transformation Committee, stated, "We need to move away from supplier-centered digital transformation policies led by the government, public institutions, and financial institutions, and instead identify issues that SMEs themselves want to address, thereby supplementing digital policies from a demand-side perspective. The Federation is formulating a medium- to long-term strategy to support the digital transformation of SMEs and micro businesses by industry and region within the private sector. We will listen closely to the opinions of various experts and announce the strategy within this year."
