Global advanced materials specialist Daejin Advanced Materials announced on September 29 that a government and business delegation from Zhouping City, Shandong Province, China, made an official visit to its research institute. This visit marks the first time the Zhouping municipal government has officially visited a specific foreign company, signifying that Daejin Advanced Materials' technological competitiveness and global standing have been recognized at an institutional level.

The delegation included Dejun Liu, the Deputy Secretary and the second-highest-ranking official in Zhouping's political leadership, confirming the local government's strategic interest. Xia Li, Director of the Science and Technology Bureau overseeing science and technology policy, and Yonggang Deng, Director responsible for municipal government policy, also accompanied the group, indicating the possibility of future policy support and expanded industry collaboration.

On the corporate side, the delegation included Haozhi Du, Chairman of Shenghua Group, a major conglomerate in Shandong, as well as representatives from various industries such as machinery manufacturing, advanced materials, biotechnology, and commerce, who visited Daejin Advanced Materials in person. This visit laid the groundwork for discussions on capital and business cooperation.

Daejin Advanced Materials possesses core competencies in organic synthesis design, functional polymer synthesis and blending, and nanocomposite technology. In particular, the company has expanded its application areas in next-generation industries such as electric vehicles, energy storage systems (ESS), and semiconductors, based on its surface modification and dispersion technology for carbon-based fillers like carbon nanotubes (CNT), graphene, and carbon black. Additionally, Daejin Advanced Materials has earned technological credibility from global clients through its Mechano-Fusion dry compounding technology and the development of eco-friendly composites based on recycled plastics.

Yoo Sungjun, CEO of Daejin Advanced Materials, stated, "This visit by the Chinese government represents a symbolic exchange where politics, policy, industry, and capital are all interconnected. Building on this, we plan to establish a stable foundation in the Chinese market and further strengthen our global network diversification strategy to ensure sustainable growth."

A Chinese government official added, "Based on this exchange, we will strive to foster cooperation with major Chinese battery companies such as BYD, CATL, and SVOLT."

Meanwhile, Daejin Advanced Materials is a specialized company focusing on high-performance nanomaterials, eco-friendly new materials, and high-performance components, with global bases in Korea, the United States, Poland, and the Philippines. The exchange with Zhouping City is expected to serve as a significant milestone in accelerating the company's global supply chain diversification strategy, including in China.
