Hana Financial Group announced on the 28th that it held the "Chuseok Love Songpyeon Sharing Volunteer Activity" at its Myeongdong headquarters on the 27th in celebration of Chuseok, Korea's major traditional holiday.

This volunteer event was organized to support low-income multicultural families and elderly individuals from vulnerable groups in the local community so that they could enjoy a warm Chuseok holiday. More than 100 employees and their family members participated, carefully making Songpyeon rice cakes and assembling "Happiness Boxes."

Through this initiative, Hana Financial Group actively contributed to promoting an inclusive culture of sharing, spreading the spirit of giving on an individual level, and strengthening bonds with the local community through family participation.

On the same day, Hana Financial Group delivered 100 "Happiness Boxes," each containing Songpyeon made by parents and children together, as well as 10 different types of food items and daily necessities, to multicultural families and elderly individuals in vulnerable situations within the community.

The Happiness Boxes were filled with ready-to-eat food products such as instant rice, noodles, chicken soup, beef bone soup, and spicy beef soup, as well as daily necessities including kitchen towels, dish soap, and rubber gloves. This allowed families from diverse cultural backgrounds to share in the warmth and spirit of the holiday together.

A representative from Hana Financial Group's ESG Win-Win Finance Team stated, "We gathered the heartfelt efforts of our employees to share the abundance of Chuseok with the local community and to bring the joy of the holiday to our multicultural neighbors. We will continue to practice warm sharing so that we can support families in need in the future."

Meanwhile, Hana Financial Group continues to carry out a variety of ESG activities to fulfill its social responsibility and realize an inclusive society. This year, the company has provided sign language education and hosted a sign language culture festival for employees, delivered Happiness Boxes to small business owners, and organized regular employee volunteer activities such as community clean-up events, providing essential support throughout the community.
