He went on to ask, "Who is the real president, President Lee Jaemyung or former President Yoon?" and emphasized, "Shouldn't we protect former President Yoon from anti-state forces? I am willing to risk my life to defend him," expressing his strong determination.

On the 26th, the 35th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Baek Daehyun) held the first trial and bail hearing for former President Yoon, who has been indicted on charges including obstruction of special official duties and abuse of authority. The court allowed the proceedings to be broadcast, so parts of the session were recorded and aired.

Former President Yoon appeared in court around 10 a.m. wearing a suit, with a badge displaying his inmate number pinned to the left side of his attire. Observers noted that his gray hair had become noticeably more prominent and that he appeared significantly weakened overall.

During the bail hearing, former President Yoon reportedly stated, "It was painful just to live in a 1.8-pyeong cell after being detained," and implied that even meeting with his lawyer was an important form of exercise. He also said, "There was nothing I failed to cooperate with while not in detention. I had no intention of delaying the trial."

After completing the hearing, the court announced that it would decide later on whether to release former President Yoon. The next trial is scheduled for October 10th at 10:15 a.m., and subsequent hearings are expected to take place every Tuesday and Friday.
