At the meeting, Deputy Mayor Jang Sangkil emphasized, "All departments must work closely together and respond swiftly to ensure that citizens do not experience any inconvenience in accessing administrative services. Proactively prepare alternative solutions that can be implemented on-site and promptly identify and address any citizen inconvenience in real time."
The meeting prioritized discussions on providing information about various civil petition application methods through the city website and social media, accepting civil petitions offline due to the suspension of unmanned civil petition issuance machines and Government24, strengthening emergency contact systems, and establishing close cooperation with related organizations.
Pohang City plans to continue working closely with central government agencies and North Gyeongsang Province to minimize administrative disruptions and ensure citizen convenience until the administrative information system is fully restored.
