Among the injured, three people suffered serious injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals: a staff member in his 60s with an open skull fracture, a male customer in his 70s with a head laceration, and a female customer in her 50s with a pelvic injury. The remaining 25 people sustained minor injuries and are receiving medical treatment at hospitals.

At the time of the accident, there were 72 people inside the sauna, including staff and customers. All of them managed to evacuate quickly on their own, which prevented more severe casualties. A total of seven emergency calls were received, and it was reported that 12 of the injured were transported by ambulance, while 16 made their way to hospitals independently.

The fire authorities mobilized 17 pieces of equipment and 42 personnel to carry out rescue and emergency operations, noting that the number of casualties could potentially increase.

The police and fire authorities believe that the explosion occurred while a staff member was using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to burn firewood in the charcoal kiln area of the sauna.

The police and fire authorities are currently investigating the exact extent of the damage and the cause of the accident.
