Employees of Ulsan City Hall have taken the initiative to spread warmth in the local community.
The city announced that staff from the Department of Autonomous Administration will participate in the "Bread Sharing Center: Love Bread Volunteer Activity" at the Ulsan branch of the Korean Red Cross at 9:30 a.m. on September 27.
This activity goes beyond simple bread-making volunteer work; it is designed to fulfill public officials' social responsibility and to deliver warmth to the community through sharing.
On this day, the employees will personally bake 100 loaves of bread over three hours and deliver them to facilities supporting vulnerable groups in the region, such as Mulpurae, a home for single mothers; Hope Fence, a vocational center for people with disabilities; and the Dong-gu Welfare Center for the Disabled.
Ulsan City expects this volunteer activity to strengthen bonds among employees, encourage public officials to practice voluntary sharing, and promote a culture of donation and volunteerism through the "Warmth Sharing Promotion (Campaign)."
A city official stated, "Our employees will spend meaningful time sharing bread they baked themselves with neighbors in need," adding, "We will continue to create a warm Ulsan together with citizens through various sharing activities in the future."
