Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Kim Junggwan delivers opening remarks at the Industrial Convergence Regulatory Special Review Committee held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 25th. Under current law, bipedal humanoid robots have been restricted from being introduced to industrial sites due to the lack of appropriate standards and safety regulations. However, following the committee's review on this day, it was decided that bipedal humanoid robots equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) will be tested in industrial sites for the first time.
