[Photo] Demonstration of Bipedal Humanoid Robot Equipped with AI

Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Kim Jeonggwan attended the Industrial Convergence Regulatory Sandbox Committee held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul, on September 25, and personally experienced a demonstration of a humanoid robot. Under current law, bipedal humanoid robots have been restricted from being introduced to industrial sites due to the lack of appropriate standards and safety regulations. However, as a result of the committee’s review on this day, bipedal humanoid robots equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) will be tested for the first time in industrial settings.
