More than 500 people, including public officials, members of related organizations and groups, and employees of local businesses, participated in the event, which also featured a shopping activity aimed at revitalizing the local commercial district.

This campaign was organized to boost traditional markets and local stores that are struggling due to prolonged high inflation, a low-growth trend, and weakened consumer sentiment.

Employees of Goryeong County and related organizations purchased Onnuri gift certificates worth approximately 26 million won and bought ritual and daily necessities, thereby helping to increase sales in the local commercial district. This is expected to not only stimulate consumption but also provide tangible benefits that merchants can directly feel.

A county official stated, "Starting in September, we will increase the discount rate for the Goryeong Love Gift Certificate to invigorate the local commercial district, and we will promote the second round of livelihood recovery consumption coupons to further encourage spending. We ask all residents to actively visit and use Goryeong County’s traditional markets and local stores. We will continue to implement policies tailored to our region throughout the year and do our utmost to revitalize commercial districts, including Goryeong Daegaya Market."
