The demonstration, held the previous day at the Doosan We’ve Trageum Wolsan site in Gwangju Metropolitan City, was attended by Shin Jaeuk, Director of the Gwangju Metropolitan City General Construction Headquarters, and Shin Hongcheol, Executive Director of Doosan Construction. Gwangju City is actively considering the preemptive introduction of the "Ready-Mix Concrete Production Verification System" at construction sites to enhance quality standards at these sites.

Until now, construction sites have faced various challenges in managing ready-mix concrete quality. Although ready-mix concrete is a key material for the safety of structures, there have been concerns about quality degradation because it is difficult to visually verify, from the outside, whether the mix ratio has been arbitrarily adjusted or water has been added during production.

To address these issues, Doosan Construction, in collaboration with Taejin Solution, has developed the nation's first AI-based "Ready-Mix Concrete Production Verification System." This system transmits key data such as raw material input quantities and dispatch times from production to site delivery in real time to a dedicated server, preventing any possibility of tampering or falsification.

The AI analyzes weighing errors, and products that deviate from design standards are automatically classified as defective and barred from entering the site. Quality managers, including construction companies and supervisors, can monitor the entire process in real time through a dedicated platform. This allows construction companies to secure reliable quality, while ready-mix concrete suppliers can enhance transparency and strengthen their self-management capabilities.

Doosan Construction stated that the introduction of the "Ready-Mix Concrete Production Verification System" has enabled precise quality control and is expected to significantly contribute to preventing structural defects and safety accidents caused by substandard concrete. The company has completed the patent application for this system and plans to further advance the system, expanding its application to various construction materials and processes beyond ready-mix concrete to lead the modernization of construction technology.

Doosan Construction said, "Through the AI-based verification system, we can now ensure both transparency and safety at construction sites," adding, "We will continue to innovate technologically to create a construction environment where everyone can feel secure."
