All Cheil Pharma Holdings Affiliates Obtain Integrated ISO 37001 and 37301 Certifications

Strengthening Ethical Management to Become a Trusted Pharmaceutical Company

Cheil Pharma Holdings announced that on September 24, it held the "Fair Trade Compliance Program (CP) Enhancement Declaration Ceremony" at its headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, with all affiliates including Cheil Pharmaceutical and Cheil Health Science in attendance. The company also held a ceremony to award the integrated certification for international standards ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery Management System) and ISO 37301 (Compliance Management System).

This declaration ceremony was an occasion for all affiliates of Cheil Pharma Holdings to demonstrate their commitment to ethical and compliant management as core values and to pledge adherence to fair trade-related laws and regulations. The event began with a commemorative speech by the CEO, followed by a pledge of voluntary compliance by a representative of the employees.

Notably, the simultaneous acquisition of the integrated ISO 37001 and ISO 37301 certifications by Cheil Pharma Holdings, Cheil Pharmaceutical, and Cheil Health Science signifies that their anti-bribery and compliance management systems have been established in accordance with global standards. In addition, the company is working to strengthen the substance of its compliance program, focusing on the newly established CP Operations Committee this year, and is continuing efforts to embed a genuine culture of compliance management.

The "CP" is an internal compliance management system operated by companies to voluntarily comply with fair trade-related laws and regulations. The Fair Trade Commission institutionalized this system in 2001. Companies with outstanding CP performance may receive various incentives through the Fair Trade Commission's rating evaluation, such as up to a 20% reduction in fines and exemption from ex officio investigations.
