Moon Sunhak, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, is visiting China to strengthen economic and industrial cooperation between Korea and China through meetings with central and local governments and by attending international events.


Vice Minister Moon will attend the opening ceremony of the "6th China Liaoning International Trade and Investment Fair," which will be held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, from September 24 to 25. Korea has been invited as the guest of honor this year, and Vice Minister Moon, as the government representative, will deliver a congratulatory speech emphasizing the commitment to cooperation between the two countries. In addition, he will meet with Wang Xinwei, Governor of Liaoning Province, to discuss ways to expand trade and investment cooperation and to create a stable business environment for Korean companies.


On September 26, he will move to Beijing to meet with Xie Yuansheng, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, where they plan to share the industrial policy directions of both countries and focus on cooperation measures to stabilize supply chains.


Vice Minister Moon will also hold meetings with local Korean companies in both Shenyang and Beijing to listen to their difficulties and will deliver these concerns to the Chinese government, requesting solutions.


An official from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy stated, "Through exchanges with the Chinese government, we will establish a stable supply chain cooperation system and strengthen cooperation with local governments that have high growth potential, thereby providing practical support for Korean companies' business activities in China."
