GS Construction is taking the lead in establishing a system for mutual growth by providing a wide range of support to its partner companies, which are relatively vulnerable in terms of crisis response capabilities. This support ranges from management assistance to safety education. This approach was highly praised at this year's Asia Construction Grand Awards. As a result, GS Construction received the Asia Economic Representative Award in the win-win cooperation category.

One of GS Construction's strengths is its commitment to embedding win-win management throughout all aspects of its operations, including partner selection, bidding, and process management. Recognizing the construction industry's high dependence on partner companies and the need for strategic development, the company is building a transparent and fair partnership system. Going beyond simple support, GS Construction continues to strengthen its management support system for practical and sustainable mutual growth, improve productivity by enhancing construction culture, and foster trust through communication-carrying out a variety of mutual growth initiatives on an ongoing basis.

To support the stable business activities of its partner companies, GS Construction has established an annual management support fund of 15 billion won and a win-win fund totaling 30 billion won. The company also operates both direct and indirect financial support programs, such as subsidizing interest on loans for partner companies.

GS Construction also provides on-site management support. It was the first construction company to operate an experiential safety innovation school, which has been running since 2010. In 2021, the company abolished the lowest bid system and introduced a fair competition bidding system. When subcontracting contracts are awarded at the lowest price, partner companies may neglect safety requirements to secure profits, which can jeopardize the safety of on-site workers. In addition, for high-risk work categories, GS Construction requires the assignment of dedicated safety managers and provides funding to enhance the safety capabilities of its partners.

In recognition of these efforts, GS Construction received the highest grade in the 2024 Win-Win Growth Index evaluation announced by the Win-Win Growth Committee. Having received the highest grade for four consecutive years through last year, the company was also named an "Honorary Company for Excellence," the highest accolade for mutual growth. Companies selected for the highest grade are granted benefits such as a two-year exemption from the Fair Trade Commission's ex officio subcontract investigations, additional points for public procurement bids from the Public Procurement Service, and preferential consideration when being selected as exemplary taxpayers by the National Tax Service.

GS Construction is also actively engaged in communication activities to promote win-win cooperation. Since 2004, it has consistently held the "Grand Partners Fiesta," an event for communication with partner companies. At this event, representatives from each partner company and GS Construction executives participate in activities such as awarding outstanding partners and sharing the company's business status to foster win-win cooperation.

Furthermore, GS Construction is strengthening its internal ethical standards, which form the foundation of win-win cooperation. In 2021, the company introduced a Fair Trade Compliance Program, established a dedicated department, and has been implementing activities such as education, operational checks, and process improvements. The Fair Trade Compliance Program, introduced by the Fair Trade Commission in 2001, aims to enhance compliance and ethical awareness, prevent legal violations, and promote the spread and internalization of a culture of fair trade compliance.

A GS Construction representative stated, "We will continue striving to become a leading company in the industry through win-win management."
