The students boarded a fire helicopter to directly experience dispatch procedures and gained an understanding of the dual roles of air rescue team members, who perform both rescue and emergency medical work. They also participated in demonstrations of rescue equipment, learned how to use hydraulic tools, and practiced rope knotting, experiencing the skills required in real-life situations.

In addition, the students were introduced to the concept of Air Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the various types of aviation equipment. They gained a deeper understanding of the unique characteristics of the air rescue team, which does not operate standard ambulances, and the necessity of team training in a work environment marked by significant noise and vibration.

This program served as a valuable opportunity to motivate students aspiring to become future air paramedics and to help them understand the forward-looking roles of emergency medical technicians.

Lee Osook, head of Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters, stated, "I hope this field experience program provided students with an opportunity to directly experience and understand their future work," adding, "We will continue to provide a variety of educational opportunities to help students grow into fire and emergency medical professionals who protect the lives of our residents."
