The "Quick Selection" feature on the music platform FLO has been expanding users' music listening experiences just one month after its launch.


"Quick Selection" is a function that allows users to simply pick the first song, after which artificial intelligence (AI) analyzes their mood and individual listening history to automatically play a continuous stream of music tailored to their preferences. This minimizes the effort required to select music manually, enabling users to conveniently enjoy a wider variety of songs that match their tastes.


Users who utilized the Quick Selection feature listened to an average of four additional songs per day compared to July, just before the feature was launched. This demonstrates that Quick Selection has directly increased listening volume by making it easier for users to discover and immerse themselves in music.


After placing the Quick Selection feature on the FLO application's home screen, the number of home screen users increased by 25.6% over the previous month during the first month, and 13.6% of users who tried Quick Selection went on to use FLO's AI recommendation feature for the first time. The company analyzed that this feature has attracted new recommendation users and improved accessibility to the recommendation function.


Additionally, 70% of Quick Selection users reused the feature, and 36.4% expanded their listening experience by discovering new music through the "Recommendation Familiarity Filter," which is unique to FLO's Quick Selection. This indicates high user satisfaction and strong potential for continued use of the feature.
