Preventing Illegal Subcontracting in Construction Projects... SH Conducts Company-wide Preventive Training

Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH) announced on the 22nd that it had conducted company-wide training to prevent illegal subcontracting in construction projects, in response to the government's recent strong crackdown on illegal subcontracting and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's expanded joint inspections.

The training was organized in two parts and was attended by SH internal staff, site representatives at SH construction sites, and construction project management engineers. The program focused on practical topics such as relevant laws and regulations including the Framework Act on the Construction Industry, cases and sanctions related to illegal subcontracting, and subcontract management programs.


SH plans to continue promoting training and institutional improvements to enhance employees' ability to prevent illegal subcontracting and to foster a fair construction environment.


Hwang Sangha, President of SH, emphasized, "Our corporation's mission is to protect the safety of citizens and provide high-quality public housing," adding, "I urge all employees to unite and strengthen their determination to eradicate illegal subcontracting, taking this training as an opportunity."
