Benepia Earns Certification for Hazardous Product Sales Blocking System

Certified by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Ensuring Consumer Safety Through Rigorous Internal Monitoring and Enhanced Quality Control

Benepia, the selective welfare platform operated by SK M&Service (CEO Kim Sungjun), has been certified as an operator of the Hazardous Product Sales Blocking System by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This system is an important safety measure that, in cooperation with government inspection agencies, blocks potentially dangerous products from reaching consumers in advance.

The Hazardous Product Sales Blocking System provides real-time information on hazardous products, as determined by three government agencies-the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards, the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety-to distributors. When companies register or sell products, they must verify the safety of the products against this information. If a product is found to be hazardous, immediate sales suspension and recall measures are enforced.

With this certification, Benepia has integrated the system into its welfare mall operations, strengthening the linkage with government-provided hazardous product information from the product registration stage. The company has also established an internal monitoring system to respond immediately if any distributed product is suspected to be hazardous. In addition, Benepia will inform customers about the certification mark, providing a trustworthy shopping environment where consumers can feel secure knowing the company is a certified operator of the Hazardous Product Sales Blocking System.

A Benepia representative stated, "As more customers use online shopping and welfare malls, product safety has become even more important. This certification is not just about obtaining a certification mark-it is a declaration that Benepia prioritizes trust and safety so that consumers can shop with peace of mind. We will continue to focus on thorough system operation and enhanced quality management."

Meanwhile, Benepia plans to continue contributing to the creation of a sustainable consumption environment through ongoing service improvement and enhancement. This certification is expected to further strengthen SK M&Service’s position as a responsible company in the welfare platform market.
