Exhibition of Outstanding Legislative Cases
A Variety of Hands-On Activities and Seminars Also Held

The first-ever Legislative Expo is being held at the National Assembly. Over two days, until the 24th, the National Assembly will engage with the public through various experiential booths and seminars, focusing on three major agendas: overcoming the climate crisis, responding to the disappearance of local communities, and revitalizing the people's economy.

On the 24th, National Assembly Speaker Woo Wonshik delivered the opening address for the Legislative Expo, held on the National Assembly lawn under the theme "A Path Opened by Public Participation, a Future Opened by Legislation." He stated, "Let us examine the concrete issues of people's lives from the public's perspective and seek solutions in their voices. The National Assembly and politics should create such laws and policies. Let us not only have the people elect their representatives to form the National Assembly, but also establish channels for the public to actively participate in the legislative and policy-making processes of the Assembly. This is the purpose of this Legislative Expo." He added, "I hope this Expo will truly become a venue for 'a path opened by public participation, a future opened by legislation,' and establish a new tradition of a National Assembly that works together with the people."
