원본보기 아이콘On September 22 (local time), the official weekly women's golf world rankings were announced, and Lee received 1.53 points, jumping an impressive 35 spots from 114th the previous week. She earned ranking points by winning the Hana Financial Group Championship on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, held last week at the Bears Best Cheongna America-Europe Course (par 72) in Incheon, defeating Minjee Lee of Australia. In the same tournament in 2023, Lee Dayeon secured her eighth career victory after a three-hole playoff against Minjee Lee. The winner's prize was 270 million won.
Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand and Nelly Korda of the United States maintained their positions at first and second, respectively. Minjee Lee overtook Lydia Ko of New Zealand to claim third place, pushing Ko to fourth. Among Korean golfers, Kim Hyojoo ranked ninth, Yoo Hae-ran thirteenth, Choi Hyejin seventeenth, Ko Jin-young nineteenth, Kim Se-young twenty-third, Yoo Hyunjo thirty-third, Kim Arim thirty-fourth, Lim Jinhui thirty-seventh, Noh Seunghee thirty-eighth, Lee Yewon forty-fourth, and Yoon Yina fifty-fifth.
