Last year, National Pukyong University established an integrated data linkage system within the university through the first phase of the project. This year, through the second phase of the advancement project, the university will build an integrated performance management system to systematically analyze and manage the implementation status of strategic tasks, such as the university’s mid- to long-term development plan and the president’s pledges.
To achieve this, the university will develop a dashboard that visually displays the progress of various strategic tasks at a glance, diagramming and visualizing key performance indicators for each campus (Daeyeon and Yongdang). The plan is to enable immediate identification of both well-executed and underperforming tasks, supporting strategic decision-making.
In addition, the system will include a comparative analysis function for detailed indicators of university information disclosure items, which are representative data for universities, allowing benchmarking against other institutions. It will also identify key data for new departments such as the School of Interdisciplinary Studies and establish a system to link this with existing data from academic administration information systems.
National Pukyong University expects that upon completion of this project by December, each department will be able to systematically manage their performance, supporting students’ academic and career development, assisting faculty in education and research, and contributing to management innovation and the establishment of future-oriented development strategies for the university.
