Yangju City Operates "Library with Twelve Monthly Themes"... October's Theme Is "Oh My Baby"

At the Yangju City Library in Gyeonggi Province, a special monthly theme is set to help citizens engage in systematic reading suited to the time of year. The library operates under the concept of a "Library with Twelve Monthly Themes."

The theme for October is "Oh My Baby." In celebration of Pregnant Women's Day, which is observed annually on October 10, the library has selected books related to family and parenting.

This month's recommended books are "Nevertheless, Parenting" (General Books / written by Jung Jiwoo), which reminds readers of the preciousness of connecting with young children, and "The Baby Has Arrived" (Children's Books / written by Lee Joomi), a story that resonates with all parents who are new to parenting and find everything unfamiliar.

A library official stated, "We hope that through the October themed books recommended by Yangju City Library, citizens will have an opportunity to reflect on the birth of a family and consider the meaning of loving someone other than oneself."
