Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters Holds Mentor-Mentee Partnership Ceremony with Korea International Trade Meister High School

Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Director Jeong Wonho) held a Mentor-Mentee Partnership Ceremony on September 17 at Korea International Trade Meister High School in Gampo-eup, Gyeongju.

The mentoring program, now in its sixth year, is the flagship social contribution initiative of Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters. Twelve employees from Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters and sixty students from Korea International Trade Meister High School are matched in a 1:5 ratio, and they will participate in various exchange and learning coaching activities together until December.


Director Jeong Wonho attended the event in person to encourage the students, saying, "I saw the potential and hope for the future in the students' bright eyes and passion. I hope that this mentoring program will become more than just a sharing of experiences and serve as a valuable foundation for students to nurture their dreams and take on new challenges," delivering a message of expectation and support to the students.

In response, Principal Yoo Yangjong of Korea International Trade Meister High School expressed gratitude for the continued interest and cooperation of Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters, stating, "This will be a meaningful opportunity for students to gain diverse career experiences and on-site knowledge."


After the partnership ceremony, mentors and mentees exchanged greetings to commemorate their first meeting and shared their expectations and plans for future mentoring activities.


Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters plans to continue expanding its social contribution activities, supporting the growth of local youth as a reliable partner in the community and sharing positive values with future generations.
