Global-Standard AI Agent Can Be Deployed in Just One Day

Artificial intelligence (AI) startup Wadul announced on September 19 that it has officially launched its conversational AI agent, "Gentoo," on the NHN Commerce App Store.


Gentoo is a commerce-specialized solution designed for online shopping malls, where a speech bubble-shaped button appears at the moment a customer hesitates to make a purchase. It then engages in natural conversations, much like an experienced offline store clerk, to recommend personalized products. Gentoo handles more than 500 consultations per day on average, and the cumulative number of responses has surpassed 2 million.

In particular, Gentoo analyzes conversation data with customers to extract purchasing patterns and insights, helping to enable precise product demand forecasting and optimize marketing strategies. In practice, a fashion brand that adopted Gentoo increased its sales sevenfold, while an e-commerce platform achieved a 13% purchase conversion rate, demonstrating the solution's effectiveness.


With this launch, Wadul expects to provide a globally competitive AI agent that can automatically learn shopping mall product information, making the installation process simple and enabling implementation within a single day without the need for specialized personnel.


Based on its entry into the NHN Commerce App Store, Wadul plans to strengthen its position in the domestic e-commerce market and expand support so that online shopping malls both in Korea and overseas can leverage AI technology to enhance the customer experience.
