Lotte Department Store is holding a collaborative sales event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners in celebration of the September Companion Festival, organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The Busan Main Branch of Lotte Department Store will host the Companion Festival collaborative sales event from September 19 to 25, 2025.
This September Companion Festival, organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is a nationwide consumption promotion event held across both online and offline channels. It is the largest event of its kind to date, with participation from more than 29,000 companies and 144 regional events taking place sequentially.
The Busan Main Branch of Lotte Department Store is also actively participating in this Companion Festival by presenting the "Companion Market," which brings together large corporations, small business owners, and traditional markets.
More than 10 SME brands will participate, showcasing a variety of products including keyrings, pet clothing, accessories, cookies, Korean traditional pattern scrunchie and daenggi sets, and low-irritation shower gloves.
In particular, local Busan companies such as Yujeong Art Gallery and Gijang Distribution will also join, offering special Chuseok gift sets like liquor bottle sets and processed seaweed products, drawing attention from customers.
A special event will also be held where customers who spend 50,000 won or 100,000 won or more at the event venue will receive a 5,000-won or 10,000-won Onnuri Gift Certificate on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event was also held at the Jamsil branch of Lotte Department Store from September 9 to 11, 2025.
Kim Sangwoo, the manager of the Busan Main Branch of Lotte Department Store, stated, "We believe that participating in this Companion Festival will provide an opportunity for many small business brands to expand their sales channels, and we will continue to plan and implement various collaborative models in the future."
