City Holds 3rd Regional Social Security Council Representative Meeting

Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) announced on September 18 that it held the "2025 3rd Regional Social Security Council Representative Council Meeting" at the City Hall Yeoyudang, where it reviewed the annual implementation plan.

The meeting was attended by 20 appointed and ex officio members, including Mayor Joo Gwangdeok, the public chairperson, and Kim Domook, the private sector chairperson. The agenda proceeded in the following order: a report on the results of the amendments to the council's operating rules and service regulations, a report on the monitoring results of the 2025 annual implementation plan, and a review and resolution of proposed changes to the 2025 annual implementation plan.


In particular, the meeting included a review of the progress made in the first half of the year on the "2025 Regional Social Security Annual Implementation Plan," and an in-depth discussion of necessary changes to promote highly impactful social security projects.


Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "Monitoring the community social security plan is an essential process to ensure the plan is actionable and achieves tangible results," adding, "Through a process of joint deliberation and sharing of opinions between the public and private sectors, the level of social security in the region will be enhanced."


Based on the discussions from this meeting, the city plans to meticulously coordinate the implementation and evaluation of projects in the second half of the year, and to reflect these outcomes in the formulation of the 2026 annual implementation plan, thereby strengthening the effectiveness of public-private cooperation.
