[Today's New Arrival] German Oktoberfest Draft Beer Coming to Korea

The German "Oktoberfest," the world's largest beer festival, and its signature beer, "Paulaner Oktoberfest," can now be enjoyed in Korea.

HiteJinro announced on September 16 that it will once again exclusively launch "Paulaner Oktoberfest" in Korea this year. This beer is brewed in a limited quantity only once a year specifically for Oktoberfest. Since its debut in 2022, Paulaner Oktoberfest has continued to be released for four consecutive years due to strong consumer response.

Oktoberfest is the world's largest beer festival, held for about two weeks from mid-September in Munich, Germany, where only beers from six Munich-based breweries are served. Paulaner Oktoberfest is one of these beers and accounts for more than 60% of the beer sold at the festival, making it a highly popular choice. With an alcohol content of 6.0%, it is known for its smooth, clean finish and long-lasting, well-balanced foam. Due to its limited production, only draft beer is available in Korea, and it will be sold at select venues until supplies run out.

Starting September 20, HiteJinro will offer Paulaner Oktoberfest draft beer at 12 golf courses where CJ Freshway provides food and beverage services. In particular, mini pop-up stores will be set up at Saltbay GC in Siheung, Pristine Valley GC in Gapyeong, and Sehyun CC in Yongin. Customers who order Oktoberfest draft beer at these locations can participate in special events, including a lucky draw for Paulaner golf balls and German-style snacks, as well as hands-on experience events.

From October 2 to October 4, Paulaner will also be the main brand at the 13th German Village Beer Festival held in Namhae German Village, where Oktoberfest draft beer will be featured. In addition to Oktoberfest draft beer, festival-goers can also enjoy Paulaner Weissbier, a German wheat beer, and Paulaner Munich Lager, an authentic German lager. Throughout the event, various activities will be held to recreate the authentic Oktoberfest atmosphere, such as beer-drinking contests and beer mug carrying competitions.
