Samsung Biologics announced on the 15th that it has hosted the "2025 Employee Family Invitation Event," where employees and their families come together. This year's event is being held for a total of three days-on the 13th, 14th, and continuing until the 20th-in Songdo International City, Incheon.

It allows employees' families to tour the workplace firsthand, deepening their understanding and empathy for the company, while also fostering pride and a sense of belonging among employees through their families' support. This year, a record-breaking 6,500 people are expected to participate, representing a 30% increase from last year's 5,000 attendees.
On the 13th and 14th, approximately 5,000 employees and their families attended the event. The program began with a welcome video from John Rim, CEO of Samsung Biologics, and the management team. This was followed by a presentation on the company's achievements and heartfelt video messages from employees' families, providing a time for attendees to share a sense of mission and pride. Afterwards, participants freely toured the facilities and enjoyed various programs.
Samsung Biologics organized a range of programs to help employees' families better understand the actual work carried out at the company and the biopharmaceutical industry as a whole. Through tours of the promotional center, families could observe the drug manufacturing process and facilities. VR experiences and gown-wearing activities allowed them to indirectly experience the production work. Additionally, games like "Catch 7.84 Seconds," inspired by Samsung Biologics' world-leading production capacity of 784,000 liters, enabled families to connect more closely with the company’s business achievements and naturally foster greater interest and affection.
This year, new programs were introduced to further strengthen communication and connection among family members. The "Family Message Wall," which displayed real-time messages on a large LED screen in the main lobby, was especially well received as a space for families to share encouragement and affection. Programs designed to foster intergenerational empathy, such as "Remembering Today Two Weeks Ago," where letters written during the event are delivered two weeks later, added even more meaning to the experience.
In addition, employees shared their diverse talents with their families through club activities such as performances and art and ceramics exhibitions. At various photo zones set up with company-related keywords, families were able to capture special moments together.
CEO John Rim stated, "Samsung Biologics employees fulfill their mission to protect human health and life based on the support and dedication of their families. Going forward, the company and its employees will continue to do their best to become a global leader, drawing strength from the steadfast support of their families."
Meanwhile, as a family-friendly company, Samsung Biologics operates various policies to support work-life balance, such as health checkups for employees and maternity protection systems. Since its first certification in 2015, the company has maintained its "Family-Friendly Company Certification" for ten consecutive years.
