BNK Busan Bank Signs Business Agreement with Zeroweb for "Carebell" Service

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) signed a business agreement with Zeroweb, the operator of the digital elderly care service "Carebell," at its headquarters on the 10th to create a safer care environment for seniors living alone and elderly individuals without family.

"Carebell," developed by Zeroweb, is a digital care service that uses IoT (Internet of Things) sensors installed in the home to monitor seniors' movements and daily patterns 24 hours a day. If any abnormal signs are detected, the system notifies guardians or coordinates an immediate dispatch with KT Telecop.

Through this agreement, BNK Busan Bank customers will be able to use the "Carebell" service at a discounted rate. BNK Busan Bank plans to open a dedicated "Carebell" page within its mobile banking "Life Services" section and begin accepting applications around the end of September.

Shin Sik, Head of Personal Customer Group at BNK Busan Bank, stated, "As the number of seniors living alone and elderly individuals without family in Busan is rapidly increasing, the demand for social care is also growing. Through this agreement, we hope to address gaps in elderly care and enable families to focus on their daily lives with peace of mind."
